CCCI's courtesy meeting with Australia trade delegation held

Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industries (CCCI) held a courtesy meeting with Australia trade delegation at the chamber office on Sunday.

Australia trade delegation member Richard Oakley said, ''There was a huge demand for commercial vessels worldwide. Again Australia is also making a significant contribution to the shipbuilding sector. Besides, there is a demand for shipbuilding in riverine Bangladesh. Australian investors are interested in the potential of this sector.''

CCCI Vice President Raisa Mahbub, Australia and Bangladesh Business Forum Director Mohammad Lutfur Rahman, Chamber Director Mahfuzul Haque Shah and Secretary Engineer Md Faruk were also present at the event.
