An elderly man and his wife were killed after a wall of a tin-shed house collapsed on them due to heavy rainfall caused by 'Remal' in Narsingdi Sadar upazila early Tuesday.

The incident happened at Sagoria village under Korimpur union in the upazila.

The deceased were Kaloo Kha, 70, a brick trader, and his wife Sabomahar Begum, 60, residents of that area.

It was learnt that the rubble of the tin-shed house fell on them due to heavy rainfall caused by 'Remal' while they were sleeping early in the morning. They died on the spot.
