At present, the economic situation of Bangladesh has become quite challenging. Rising inflation, rising unemployment rates and various artificial crises have led to deterioration in the standard of living of the common people. People are in dire straits as purchasing power declines and they face shortages of basic necessities. At present, the purchasing power of the people of the country has decreased significantly in the face of economic challenges and various crises. The impact of this problem on the daily life of common people is huge. Rising market prices, and income inequality are making the lives of ordinary people more difficult. Added to this is the artificial crisis, which has made the people desperate.
The road to survival has become very difficult. The next person said why what happened to you? Is there any major illness? No, brother, sickness is nothing like that. Then! Brother, the rate at which the prices of daily necessities including rice, dal, oil, potatoes, flour, flour, sugar, semolina, eggs are increasing, there is no option but to die without eating. If I buy rice, I can buy pulses, and if I buy pulses, I can buy salt and oil. I have forgotten when I ate fish and meat. I am in debt every day trying to save my life.About 90% of the families in the area have taken loans from some NGO. Almost all are running NGO installments. Every day I wake up and hear the increase in the price of daily necessities. Now 1 crore people are enjoying and 17 crore people are laughing. Life today is as dark as black smoke. Peoples purchasing power is out of reach today. We common people are lagging behind in the race of rising commodity prices. Those who have run out of ways to bring salt. The general public doesn want much. Guaranteed only thick rice, thick clothes.
An average of 40 million kg of rice is required for 70 million people per day. If he does additional business at a minimum of 10 taka per kg of rice, then he will make an extra profit of 40 crore taka per day and an extra profit of 1 thousand two hundred crore taka in a month and an extra profit of 14 thousand four hundred crore taka in a year. Apart from syndication, our businessmen are engaging themselves in the worst crimes like food adulteration, pesticides, chemical mixing.
Day by day, class discrimination is increasing, depression, anarchy, bribery, corruption, looting, income inequality are increasing. And so a class of people are becoming banyan trees day by day. The dynamic economy of the country is disappearing in the darkness of the night. Syndicates create misery in public life, create family and social crisis. As a result, public disputes, breakdowns and conflicts are increasing. No civilized country can have this syndicate.
This suffering and crisis due to the manipulation of the syndicate, the entire people sigh at the hands of the few syndicate black marketers. No civilized person can accept that. The whole country, eighteen crore people of the country have become hostage to these syndicate manipulations. Food is number one among the five basic needs of people. Many people are not able to meet this demand with regular income. 25.5 percent of the countrys families have to take loans to meet the food shortage. These families borrow an average of Tk 49,000 per year.
Families take loans from relatives, moneylenders and banks. Accordingly, 4 crore 33 lakh people of the country are forced to meet the food shortage by borrowing. According to Article 15 of the Constitution, one of the basic responsibilities of the state shall be to gradually increase the production capacity through planned economic development and to improve the material and cultural quality of the peoples lifestyle, so as to ensure the provision of basic materials of life including food, clothing, shelter, education, and medical care for the citizens.Apart from this, it is stated in Article 18(1), that the State shall regard the development of the nutritional level of the people and the improvement of public health as one of the primary duties.
The rate at which inflation has increased, including food products, has not increased the wages or income of the common people. State intervention is needed in this regard. Food insecurity is highest among farming families than any other occupation. 26.13 percent of the countrys households producing food grains through agriculture are under moderate or severe food insecurity. The price of non-essential goods is also increasing along with the increase in the price of daily necessities. The prices of educational materials for boys and girls, books, notebooks, paper, pens, pencils, rubber etc. have also increased manifold. Because the transport fare is double, I think three times to go out even if necessary. Our lives are fed up with the beauty of rivers, sands, forests, mountains. It has become very difficult to educate boys and girls. Brother, I will not only die without food, but I will die uneducated, uneducated.
Syndicates control not only daily necessities, but also medical and health care of captive countries. 100 rupees saline for dengue is being sold for 500 rupees to 1000 rupees. We do not understand how the prices of those with no production cost or very low production cost skyrocket. Free Bangladesh at the cost of the lives of 30 lakh martyrs imprisoned by the syndicate. Syndicates everywhere in the country. Syndicate manipulation everywhere including paddy to rice, rice to skin, skin to onion, onion to rice and seasonal vegetables. This syndicate is questioning our progress and achievements day by day.
By creating an artificial crisis in the country, creating a kind of artificial famine and by spreading rumours, thousands of crores of rupees are taken from our pockets in broad daylight. We are helpless. I can say anything. The group of robber syndicates is robbing us of everything by taking hostages and tying our hands and feet in front of the need. Family feuds, breakdowns, social chaos, suicides have increased under the influence of syndicates. To keep our development, democratic environment, normal way of life, our economy and achievements moving, there is no alternative to break the syndicate.Special attention should be paid to the rights of farmers and workers who are the main driving forces of the countrys economy, whose sweat and toil keep the wheels of the countrys economy moving so that they are interested in more production.
There is no alternative to break the syndicates and prevent money laundering abroad to restore the purchasing power of the people, free the people from artificial crises, keep the countrys economy moving and keep the wheels of prosperity moving.Syndicates must be broken by establishing political, economic and administrative transparency and accountability. State institutions should make TCB stronger and more active as well as making consumer rights more effective. We want syndicate free country. I want assurance of purchasing power. I want assurance of a healthy normal life.
