Man dies falling from tree at Kulaura

KULAURA, MOULVIBAZAR, June 3: A labourer died after falling from a tree in Kulaura Upazila of the district on Sunday.

The incident took place in Bhelkuma Punjee under Karmadha Union of the upazila at noon.

The deceased was identified as Renu Mia, 60, a resident of the upazila.

Locals said that Renu Mia was cutting branches from a tree in Bhelkuma Punjee at noon. At one stage, he fell from there accidentally, which left him dead on the spot.

Sub-Inspector of Kulaura Police Station Abdur Rahim confirmed the incident.
