Missing man found dead in M'singh

Police recovered the body of a man, who went missing on Thursday, from a forest at Haluaghat upazila in Mymensingh district on Saturday.

The deceased was identified as Kurban Ali, 60, a resident of West Koraitoli ara in the upazila. 

It was learnt that Kurban Ali went to the forest to collect wood for cooking on Thursday afternoon but didn't return. 

Around 9:00am on Saturday, a local person named Billal spotted Kurban's body and informed the police.
On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital (MMCH) morgue for autopsy, said Md Mahbubul Haque, officer in-charge of  Haluaghat Police Station. 

He might have been died after being ran him over by elephants, the police official added.  

An unnatural death case will be filed in this regard, the OC said.
