The deceased was identified as Shamsul Huda, 42, son of Hafizar Rahman, a resident of Talukokanupur village in the upazila.

Earlier, he succumbed to his injuries in a private hospital of Bogura while undergoing treatment on Friday night.

It was learnt that there had been a long standing dispute between Hafizar Rahman and his step-brother Anwarul Islam over a land.
Following this dispute, They locked in an altercation on Wednesday (June 5) afternoon in front of Anwarul's house while Shamsul was going to market along with his brother Shahin.
