Minor boy killed in C'nawabganj road crash

A three years old boy was killed when a battery-operated van hit him in Gomastapur upazila in Chapainawabganj district on Wednesday.
 
The deceased was identified as Kawsar Ali, 3, son of Ismail Hossain, a resident of Nandalalpur village of the upazila.
 
Police said the accident took place when a battery-run auto van hit Kawsar as he was crossing the road in front of his house around 11 am.
 
Seriously injured Kawsar was rushed to the Gomastapur Upazila Health Complex where the on duty doctor declared him dead.
 
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Gomostapur Police Station Chowdhury Zobayer Ahammad confirmed the matter.
