20 hurt in Feni road accident

At least 20 people injured as a bus overturned on the Dhaka-Chattogram highway in Feni sadar upazila on Sunday.

The accident took place around 12.30pm at Muhuriganj area in the upazila.

Among the injured, twelve persons were undergoing treatment at Feni Meical College Hospital ang eight people were sent to Chattogram Medical College Hospital for better treatment.

According to locals, a Diganta Paribahan bus with full of passengers was heading towards Sylhet from Chattogram. On the way, the driver of the bus overturned into the road, leaving at least 20 of the passengers injured.

Of them, most of the injured are hailed from Habiganj, Madhabpur and Brahmanbaria upazila.
Fajilpur Highway Police Station officer-in-charge Rashed Khan Chowdhury confirmed the information and added that police have seized the spot from the spot and legal actions will be taken in this regard.
