The Met Office on Thursday forecast that rains is likely to occur across the country for the next five days.
Light to moderate rains or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty winds are likely to occur at most places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, Khulna, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at many places over Rajshahi, Dhaka and Barishal divisions with moderately heavy to very heavy falls at places across the country today (Friday), according to a Met Office bulletin issued On Thursday.

Weatherman AKM Nazmul Hoque forecast that rainfall activity may continue for next five days.
Countrys highest rainfall of 153mm was recorded at Tetulia on Thursday.
