Man cought with firearm and bullets

Police arrested a man with a firearm and bullet from Fakirhat upazila in Bagerhat district on Monday night.

The arrested man is Imran, 30, a resident of Nikari Para village under Lakhapur union in the upazila.  

Acting on a tip-off, a team of police conducted a raid in his house and arrested him. Police then recovered a homemade pistol, six-round bullets, and several homemade firearms from his possession, said Md Ashraful Alam, officer in-charge of Fakirhat Model Police Station. 

Imran is a professional robber and is accused of 28 cases including a new case registered across various police stations, said the OC. 
He will be produced before the court after completing legal procedures, the police official added.
