Two siblings killed in Pabna road crash

The deceased were Prodeep Halder, son of Rajkumar Halder of Bera municipality of the upazila, and his sister Sampa Rani, wife of Dinesh of Natore district.

Officer-in-charge of Pabna Sadar Police Station Rawshan Ali said the CNG-run auto-rickshaw was going to Pabna from Bera upazila. The accident occurred, when the auto-rickshaw reached the Dhaka-Pabna Highway in Dhopaghat area and a speedy truck coming from opposition collided with the auto-rickshaw, leaving seven passengers injured.

They were promptly taken to the Pabna General Hospital where doctors declared two persons dead.

Among the injured the conditions of the two other persons are critical anf they sent to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital, the OC said.
