Deputy Speaker Tuku now at CMH

Deputy Speaker and Pabna-1 constituency's member of parliament (MP) heroic freedom fighter Adv Shamsul Huq Tuku, who was earlier flown to Dhaka from Pabna after fell sick, is now undergoing treatment at Combined Military Hospital (CMH).

Quoting physicians, Shamsul Huq Tuku's personal secretary Amjad Hossain said Tuku's health condition is now good.

Earlier at about 3:30pm on Friday, the lawmaker was flown to Dhaka by a helicopter from Abdul Khaleque Stadium at Bera in Pabna after he suddenly fell sick there.
Fatema-Tuz-Zohra, UHA of Bara Upazila Health Complex said, "Shamsul Huq Tuku's ECG has been done. There are some problems and, for this, he was referred to the Combined Military Hospital for better treatment.

At about 11am on Friday, Tuku attended the inauguration ceremony of a tree plantation programme at Bipin Bihari Pilot High School ground in Bera as the chief guest.

Following the inauguration, he was taking preparation to plant saplings at 'Nouka Chattar,' adjacent to his own home. At that time, he suddenly fell sick and leaned to the right. Instantly, he was rushed to Bera Upazila Health Complex. After he felt somewhat well, he was taken to his own residence. Later, he was flown to Dhaka for better treatment by a helicopter of Bangladesh Navy.
