2 held with liquor in Joypurhat

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested two drug peddler along with 305 liters of liquor from Panchbibi upazila in Joypurhat district on Saturday morning.

The arrested men are Bhuttu Rabi Das, 45 and Rina Bala, 40, residents of Polasgor area in the upazila.

RAB sources said, acting on a tip-off, a team of elite force conducted a rain in Polasgor area under the upazila and arrested them while they were selling liquor. At that time, RAB recovered 305 liters of liquor from their possessions.

A case has been filed with the Panchbibi Police Station, the RAB said.
