Missing man's body recovered in Lalmonirhat

Police recovered the body of a man, who had been missing since Friday afternoon, from a pond at Kaliganj upazila in Lalmonirhat district on Saturday.

The deceased was identified as Afaz Uddin, 55, a resident of Gorol Soupothi area under Goral union in the upazila. He had paralyzed problem.  

It is known to that, Afaz Uddin left house on Friday afternoon for searching goat, but did not return. 

Later, on Saturday morning, family members spotted his floating body in a pond near his house and informed the police. 
On information, police recovered the body and handed it over to the deceased's family members as there were no allegations, said Abdul Kader, sub-inspector of Goral Police Station.
