MADHUPUR, TANGAIL, June 30: Dhanbari Municipality of the district on Thursday noon announced its budget of Tk 29,17,59,545 for the financial year 2024-2025.
A budget announcing meeting was held in the municipality office conference room, with Mayor Muhammad Moniruzzaman Bakal in the chair. It was arranged under the supervision of Deputy Assistant Engineer Noor Mohammad.
The budget included revenue income of Tk 3,96,59,545 and revenue expenditure of Tk 3,72,57,521. The development income is Tk 25,21,00,000 and the development expenditure is the same. The closing revenue balance is estimated at Tk 24,02,024.
Among others, Assistant Engineer Mohammad Sanwar Hossain, Panel Mayor Mir Abdur Razzak, Councillor Khorshed Alam Khosru, Conservancy Inspector Bishnath Bhadra, Dhanbari Press Club Joint General Secretary Hafizur Rahman, and Organizing Secretary Syed Sajan Ahmed Raju and others spoke at the budget meeting.
