Teen-girl's hanging body found in classroom

Police recovered the hanging body of a teenage girl from a classroom in Jhalakathi's Sadar upazila on Monday morning.

The body was recovered at around 11:00 am from a classroom of fourth floor at Jhalakathi Government Harachandra Girls School. 

The deceased was identified as Afia Aktar, 14, daughter of Amir Hossai, a resident of Gavaramsondropur village in the upazila. She was a ninth grader in the school.

On information, police recovered the student's body from a classroom, said Md Sahidul Islam, officer-in-charge of Jhalakathi Sadar Polie Station.
Legal actions would be taken in this regard after investigation, he added.
