Ctg-Khagrachhari road communication halted for landslide

The road communication of Khagrachhari with Dhaka and Chattogram remained suspended due to landslide in Khagrachhari caused by heavy rains on Tuesday morning. 

Tourists and general passengers are stranded in the areas as vehicles can not move.

Earlier, vehicles movement were stopped as a landslide happened in Sapahar area in Khagrachhari at around 5:00 am. Long congestions have been seen both sides of the road. 

Fire Service personnel and local people are working to move the soil from the road, said Rajesh Barua, an official of Khagrachhari Fire Service..  
The vehicles movement will resumes within 30 minutes, he added.
