Justice Jahangir Hossain suddenly falls ill, admitted to BSMMU

Justice Jahangir Hossain Salim was admitted to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) as he suddenly fell ill in the courtroom of the Appellate Division during a trial on Wednesday.

Supreme Court public relations and information officer Shafiqul Islam confirmed the matter.

He said, "At about 9:45am, during a trial, Justice Jahangir suddenly fell sick. He was then taken to the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University. And he is now undergoing treatment there."
