Girl drowns in Rangamati flood water

A school girl drowned in flood water in Rangamati's Baghaichhari upazila on Wednesday afternoon.

The dead was Suhamoni Chakma, 11, daughter of Mohini Kumar, a resident of Balukhali village under Bangaltali union.
She was a sixth grader at BT High School.

Bengaltali Union Parishad reserved woman member Shefali Chakma confirmed it.

It was known that around 5 pm, the girl drowned in the flood water while she was playing near their house. Later, locals recovered her body.
