Police arrested seven robbers with an LG and a pipe gun from Begumganj upazila in Noakhali district on Thursday night.
The arrested men are Md Kamal, 43, Md Shamim, 22, Md Raihan, 28, Md Miraz, 22, Md Sharif, 27, Md Helaluddin, 21, and Md Salauddin, 26. They are residents of Noakhali, Lakshmipur and Bhola districts.
Police said, on information, they conducted a raid in Lalpur area at night and held the robbers with LG, pipe gun, ornaments and sharp weapons.
Robbery and arms cases have been filed against them, said Md Anowarul Islam, officer-in-charge of Begumganj Police Station.
The robbers will be produced before a court this afternoon, he added.
