Youth 'beaten to death' by friend in Chattagram

A youth was beaten to death allegedly by his friend at Kotwali Police Station area in Chattagram city. 

The incident happened at around 10:30 pm in Station road area under Kotwali Police Station in the city.

The deceased was identified as Mona, 25. 

It was learnt that there had been a long standing dispute between Mona and his one of his friend. Following this incident, some people beat up Mona in the area at night, leaving him critically injured.
He was rescued and taken a local hospital where the on-duty doctors declared him dead.

Confirming it SM Obaidul Haque, officer-in-charge of Kotwali Police Station, said legal actions are under process in this regard.
