Jubo League leader hacked to death in Khulna

A Jubo League leader was hacked to death by miscreants at the Lohar Gate in East Baniakhamar in Khulna on Monday night.

 The deceased, Al Amin (45), was the former joint convener Ward-27 Jubo League.

Mohammad Kamal Khan, officer-in-charge of Khulna Sadar Police Station confirmed the matter.
 Eyewitnesses said that around 10 pm on Monday, some men attacked Al Amin with machetes while he was sitting in Mamuns garage in East Baniakhamar.

 Later, locals took him to Khulna Medical College Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

 Police have detained Tayebur Rahman Mamun, the owner of Lohar Gate garage in connection with the murder.      —UNB
