Lightning kills man in Kishoreganj

KISHOREGANJ, July 10: A man was killed by lightning strike in Itna Upazila of the district on Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Yasin Mia, 45, son of Md Karam Ali, a resident of Barahati Village in the upazila.

According to local sources, thunderbolt struck on Yasin Mia on Tuesday while he was catching fish in the Dhanpur Haor. He died is spot.

Officer-in-Charge of Itna Police Station (PS) Zakir Rabbni confirmed the incident, adding that an unnatural death case was filed with the PS in this connection.
