Workshop on Tea Act held in Panchagarh

PANCHAGARH, July 11: A workshop on Northern tea industry and Tea Act-2016 notification was held in the conference room of the deputy commissioner (DC) on Thursday noon.

The workshop was attended by Bangladesh Tea Board (BTB) Chairman Major General Ashraful Islam as the chief guest. It was conducted by DC Md Zahurul Islam.

The workshop was organized by the head office of the BTB in cooperation with the district administration.
Regional Officer of the BTB Amir Hossain presented a keynote paper on the present status of tea, future actions and Tea Act-2016 at the workshop.
