Due to submarine cable maintenance work, internet users may experience temporary slowdown 6am to 6pm on Saturday (July 13).

Bangladesh Submarine Cables Company Limited PLC (BSCPLC) informed this in a press release on Friday (July 12) afternoon.

From 6:01am to 6pm, the consortium has scheduled maintenance for a land cable fault near the Tuas landing station of the the South East Asia-Middle East-Western Europe 4(SEA-ME-WE 4) submarine cable system in Singapore, the press release said.
During this period, services on the circuits connected from Cox's Bazar to Singapore via SMW4 will be temporarily disrupted, BSCPLC said.
