2 die after inhaling toxic gas inside septic tank in Kushtia

Two people died and another was injured after inhaling toxic gas inside a septic tank in Kushtia's Daulatpur upazila on Saturday morning.

The accident happened at around 8:00 am in Bagoan Moddopara village under Mothurapur union in the upazila. 

The deceased Kader were identified as Liton Hossain, 30, son of Haran Biswas, and Razon Hossain, 30, son of Yarul Hossain, both residents of the area.

Mizan Hossain, brother of deceased's Razon Hossain, was also injured in the incident. 
Mizan Hossain said Liton Hossain became sick while cleaning the septic tank. Then my brother Razon hossain went down to rescue him but he also fell ill.

Later, "I went down to rescue my brother and also fell ill." 

"Locals and fire service members rescued us and took to Daulatpur Upazila Health Complex where the on-duty doctors declared the duo dead." added Mizan Hossain.  

On information, police recovered the bodies and sent those to the Kushtia Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy, said Mahbubur Rahman, officer-in-charge of  Daulatpur Police Station.
