ARSA man held with arm, ammo in Ukhiya camp

Armed Police Battalion (APBn) arrested a member of militant group Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army (ARSA) with arms and ammunition during a drive in Ukhiya camp of Cox’s Bazar early Sunday. 

The arrestee was Mohammad Illius, son of Hasan Ahmed of Camp-11Sub Block A/15.
APBn-14 commander Additional DIG Mohhamad Iqbal said acting on a tip off a team of APBn conducted a drive Camp-20, Block-A M/35. 

They arrested Illius from a temporary bridge adjacent to tea stall of Nur Alam. APBn also seized two G-3 Rifles and 50 rounds of bullets. 

Legal procedure against the arrestee in under process, the ADIG said.
