Man dies falling from tree in Pirojpur

PIROJPUR, July 14: An elderly man died after falling from a tree in Nazirpur Upazila of the district on Wednesday. 
The deceased was identified as Hanif Darani, 70, son of Bhaddar Ali Darani, a resident of Ruhitala Village under Nazirpur Sadar Union in the upazila. 
Local sources said Hanif fell from a tree while he was collecting fruits, which left him critically injured.
Injured Hanif was then rescued and taken to Nazirpur Upazila Health Complex, where the on-duty doctor declared him dead.
Officer-in-Charge of Nazirpur Police Station Md Shah Alam Hawlader confirmed the incident.
