Law, order meet held in Panchagarh

PANCHAGARH, July 15: Monthly law and ortder meeting of the District Law and Order Committee was held on Sunday.

It was arranged in the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner (DC) office, with DC Md Jahurul Islam in the chair.

Committee Advisor Naimuzzaman Bhuia Mukta, MP,  and Rezia Islam, MP, were present at the meeting.
Discussions were held on the price and deduction of raw tea leaves, 

Water-logging in the city, drugs, smuggling, safe roads, abuse of women and children, gambling through mobile phones, and social degradation.

Police Superintendent SM Sirajul Huda highlighted the overall law and order situation in the district, and said, the police force is performing round-the-clock to maintain the law and order in the district. In this case, he sought cooperation from all in this regard.
