Three hotels, one pharmacy fined at Hili

DINAJPUR, July 15: A mobile court fined three hotels and one pharmacy Tk 18,000 for preparing foods in an unhygienic environment and keeping date expired medicines at Hili Bazar in Hakimpur Upazila of the district on Monday.

Assistant Director of District Consumer Rights Protection Department Momtaz Begum and Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Layla Yasmin conducted a joint drive at Hili Bazar in the afternoon. 

During the drive, the mobile court imposed fines of Tk 5,000 on each of the three hotels and Tk 3,000 on the pharmacy.
