Schools, colleges closed across country

The government has announced the closure of all schools, colleges, madrasas and polytechnic institutes in the country considering the safety of the students in the ongoing quota reform movement.

The information was informed in the notification of the Ministry of Education on Tuesday (July 16) night. Ministry's Public Relations Officer MA Khair confirmed the information.
According to the notification of the Ministry, taking into consideration the safety of school and college going students, all secondary (school) and higher secondary (college) level educational institutions, madrasas and polytechnic institutes under the Ministry of Education will be closed until further notice.
