Environmental pollution leads to unhealthy effects on animals, humans and plants. The substances that cause environmental pollution are known as pollutants. These substances can be in solid, gaseous, or liquid states. They are present in nature in larger concentrations and result in pollution. Some harmful substances are plastic materials, chemicals, nuclear waste, DDT, and industrial waste.

there are strategies to Control Environmental Pollution. Several environmentalists and scientists are working to execute unique strategies to combat environmental pollution. The household, mining, industrial, agriculture, and medical wastes need to be disposed of appropriately. The irregular disposal of these scraps is the main reason for environmental pollution.

Discharge of waste and inefficient disposal of waste causes pollution. Appropriate pollution control strategies and adequate waste management are necessary to tackle pollution. If the waste is not collected appropriately for removal, it goes into the sewers. Non-biodegradable waste such as metal scrap and plastic bags choke the sewers and lead to incontinence. Some waste is consumed by the cattle and may be life-threatening.

Efficient waste disposal is a crucial strategy to control environmental pollution. Suppose techniques for waste management are not executed. In that case it may cause epidemics due to contamination of the groundwater leading to water pollution, posing health risks to the people who dispose of waste.Inappropriate waste disposal may lead to the escape of poisonous gases into the environment and result in air pollution. The hazardous gases released by the industries and vehicles indirectly or directly affect human beings and cause air pollution.

Spreading waste should be strictly prevented. We should encourage carpooling and public transport and start using alternatives such as electric vehicles to reduce vehicular emission. Renewable sources of fuel will help make our earth a healthier and safer place to live.

Air pollution control, the techniques employed to reduce or eliminate the emission into the atmosphere of substances that can harm the environment or human health. The control of air pollution is one of the principal areas of pollution control, along with wastewater treatment, solid-waste management, and hazardous-waste management. Reforestation: The quality of air can be improved by planting more and more trees as they clean and filter the air.

Policy for industries: Strict policy for industries related to the filter of gases should be introduced in the countries. So, we can minimize the toxins released from factories. Use of eco-friendly fuel: We have to adopt the usage of Eco-friendly fuels such as LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas), CNG (Compressed Natural Gas), bio-gas, and other eco-friendly fuels. So, we can reduce the amount of harmful toxic gases.

Another way of controlling air pollution caused by industries is to modify and maintain existing pieces of equipment so that the emission of pollutants is minimised.Sometimes controlling pollutants at the source is not possible. In that case, we can have process control equipment to control the pollution.A very effective way of controlling air pollution is by diluting the air pollutants.

The last and the best way of reducing the ill effects of air pollution is tree plantation. Plants and trees reduce a large number of pollutants in the air. Ideally, planting trees in areas of high pollution levels will be extremely effective. Simple steps around the home make big a difference in reducing water pollution. Pick up pet waste, keep yard clippings out of storm drains and fix car leaks before the next big rain washes oil and other fluids into your local water supply.

One of the most critical problems that our world is facing each day is pollution. For the past decades, pollution has always been seen as a destruction that is destroying the planet where we live, little by little. Some people have noticed it, some people did not, and some just don really care.

We all know that natural sources like volcanic eruptions, wildfires, or dust storms are also some of the causes of pollution, but we cannot blame them because we humans have no control over them. What we should be mindful of is our activities that we do everyday, because those activities are responsible for the pollution: to burning fossil fuels, construction and demolition, deforestation, or improper waste management, we can say that almost every human in this earth has at least contributed to the pollution we are experiencing up until today. Having said that, as a concerned youth of this generation, I will share a number of ways young people like us can do to be a change maker who will create a big impact on our environment for the rest of our lives.

Conserve Energy: Even at home, everyone should learn how to conserve energy because even if it is not obvious, there is an absolute connection between energy use and the environment. It is due to the fact that energy consumed is directly proportional to the amount of toxic released. It also reduces our monthly electricity bill which can help reduce air pollution because a lot of countries still depend on non-renewable sources of energy such as gas and coal that releases air pollutants in the air once burned. This means that if we consume less power, we are also reducing the amount of toxic fumes released by power plants, as well as protecting the earths natural resources and ecosystems away from destruction.

Stop Burning Leaves, Woods, and Garbages/Stop Smoking: Burning leaves, woods, and garbage, as well as the smoke that comes from cigarettes produces carbon monoxide which is harmful to our environment. The smoke that comes out from these things also releases irritants and cancer causing compounds that can cause respiratory problems and other health issues. Not only does it harm the environment, but also the living things in it.Use Public Transportation, Bike, or Walk: If it is not necessary to travel using a private vehicle or if your destination is near, try to walk, bike, or use public transportation. This will reduce our carbon footprint and conserve energy as well as reducing fuels when traveling with a private vehicle.

Find an Alternative: There is always a possible alternative to everything. Instead of using plastic bags, just use eco bags or reusable ones. For plant lovers out there or in Filipino terms,"Plantitas" and "Plantitos", planting is also a really great help to reduce pollution because plants and trees convert carbon dioxide into oxygen which acts as a carbon sink.

As we progress through the 21st century, humans are continuously changing the world in anomalous ways. Despite everything we face, we should always choose to be different, to be a changemaker. We should always choose to do better. We should always choose to think green. We should always choose to save the earth.
