NATORE, July 23: People of Chougram Union in Singra Upazila of the district demanded a bridge over Jolarbata-Boria Canal.
This rainy season, locals are suffering communications.
In addition to villagers, students, teachers and guardians of Kashful Ulum Nesaria Madrasa are the worst sufferers.
At present, the madrasa is not running due to want of easy communication.
There is a three mile un-metalised road from Jolarbata to Pomboria; local farmers face much trouble at the time of harvesting crops.
So, suffering people also demanded a metallic road.
Kashful Ulum Nesaria Madrasa was established beside the Jolarbata Canal in 2019. It has gained much reputation in providing good teaching to students.
At present, many students from Pabna, Bogura, Rajshahi and Sirajganj districts study in the madrasa.
Teachers and guardians said, \Students fall in trouble in the rainy season in crossing the canal in the absence of a bridge. "
Madrasa teachers Mufti Abu Bakar Ibne Sana, Mufti Zakaria Masud and Mufti Abu Syed informed, with the increasing of flood water the little children cannot come to the madrasa.
The class taking remains suspended for three to four months in a year.
Zahedul Islam Vola, chairman of Chougram Union, said, if a bridge is built here, all classes of people of that village will get good service in moving.
