Public sufferings increased in the capital after quota protest movement took a violent turn, internet service was shut down and Army was deployed across the country.
Most of the city dwellers stayed at home.
Anyone leaving home faced hassles not getting public transport, police search amid curfew.
Tanzid Hossain of Tantibazar area told to the Daily Observer that he faced problems when he went to receive his brother in law at Hazrat Shahjalal Airport.
Tanzid said, "I went to airport to receive my brother in law in an auto- rickshaw.
I rented an auto rickshaw at Tantibazar to go to Mohakhali, then from Mohakhali to Banani and from there to the Airport.
"I took a taxi at the airport to return home by paying double the fare," he said.
Fear gripped people amid curfew and as army troops were deployed at different points of the capital.
Public sufferings took new turn due to disruption of internet service and mobile internet service.
City dwellers are unable to recharge prepaid electricity meter and cannot withdraw their money from banks or ATM Booths.
Rakibul Islam of Lakkhi Bazar told the Daily Observer that he could not recharge his electricity meter after waiting on a long queue at electricity office on Tuesday.
"Today my family has to stay without electricity, my newborn baby will suffer more," he said.
Kamrul Islam of Mohammadpur said he has been facing cash crisis as cannot withdraw his money from his bank account.
Kamrul said, "I went to withdraw money from the ATM booth but all the booths near to my residence were out of order. I am facing severe cash crisis for last two days."
Sayad Mahbubul Alam Managing Director of Mutual Trust Bank told the Daily Observer, "Due to security concerns we cannot refill our Automated Trailers Machine (ATM) booths.."
