Dhaka Metropolitan Police has requested information, images, and videos regarding individuals involved in violent incidents during the quota reform protests.

A reward will be given to those who provide such details, the DMP said in a notice.

Those wishing to share information are encouraged to dial 01320101010 or 01320202020.

Police have assured that the identity of informants will be kept confidential.

Another notice from the Police Headquarters has reiterated the call for any information on saboteurs.

For this purpose, contact numbers 01320001222 and 01320001223 have been provided.

Students have been protesting for quota reform since the beginning of July.

Following the 'Bangla Blockade' programme, the movement turned violent, with nearly 200 fatalities reported in a week.

From last Thursday to the following two days, attacks, vandalism, and arson occurred at various locations, including the Setu Bhaban, BRTA building, the Department of Disaster Management, the Directorate General of Health Services, Mirpur Indoor Stadium, two metro stations, BTV headquarters, Hanif Flyover toll plaza, Fire Service Station, PBI office in Banasree, Dhaka North City Corporation's garbage trucks, Uttara and Mohammadpur communities, Mohakhali DNCC Hospital and Narsingdi Jail.

The government imposed a curfew from midnight on Friday and deployed the army.

It accused the BNP and the Jamaat-e-Islami of using the student protests as a pretext to cause chaos and attempt to topple the government.
