78 BNP-Jamaat activists held in Gaibandha

Police have arrested 78 activists of BNP and Jamaat-e-Islami in Gaibandha district in connection with three cases filed over sabotage activities during the recent Quota Reform Movement.

Masud Rana, officer in-charge of Gaibandha Sadar Police Station, confirmed the arrests news. 

Earlier, police filed three separate cases with the police station against 700-800 unnamed individuals for their involvement in sabotage activities during the recent movement, the police official added.
