Arms, ammo found in Dhanmondi

Law enforcers in a drive recovered firearms and ammunition from a residence in Dhanmondi area of the capital on Saturday.

Mishuk Chakma, Deputy Commissioner of Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) Unit of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) said they conducted a raid at a house, 5/A Abasar Bhaban on Satmasjid Road in Dhanmondi and recovered the arms and ammunition.

The officials said they detained three individuals from the house for interrogation.

Police suspect that it was a den of Jamaat leaders and activists.
