Bangladesh Army is committed to remain beside the people in maintaining law and order for the greater national interest.

Bangladesh Army has been deployed in respective areas since the morning of 20 July 2024 to provide overall security to public lives and important government facilities in the deteriorating security situation across the country, said a press release of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
Along with other forces, the presence of the army helped control the law and order situation by quickly mitigating anarchy, it added, BSS reports.

The release said some vested quarters are spreading falsehood and misleading information against the Bangladesh Army in various foreign and social media in a bid to tarnish the image of the army at home and abroad.

The Bangladesh Army is conducting activities with the help of the civil administration to restore peace and security in the country and bringing back relief in public minds under the existing laws, it added.

Bangladesh Army has sought cooperation from the country’s people not to be misled by such misleading information and news of the vested quarters, it added.

Bangladesh Army is and will always remain beside the people, in any need, for the greater national interest, the release added.
