Women return home after series win

Bangladesh women's national football team that won the two-match friendly series against Bhutan 2-0 following a 4-2 win over the host Bhutan in the last match on Saturday returned in Dhaka on Sunday. The women flew a KB 302 Chartered Flight and touched Dhaka soil at 8:30 in the morning. The women in red and greens played the series as part of their preparation for the upcoming SAFF Women's Championship 2024 to be played in the Nepalese capital Kathmandu from 17 to 30 October this year. In the first match on Wednesday, Bangladesh came from behind a goal to win the match by 5-1. All the matches were played at the Changlimithang Stadium in Thimphu, Bhutan.
