AB Party leader Manju picked up by DB

It has been alleged that Mojibur Rahman Manju, the member secretary of Amar Bangladesh Party (AB Party), detained by the Detective Branch (DB) of police on Monday night.

The party's publicity secretary, Anwar Sadat Tutur, confirmed this news to the media on On Tuesday (July 30) morning. 

He said that family members have confirmed that Mojibur Rahman Manju was taken from his home in the Mirpur DOHS area at 12:30 AM. The individuals who took him identified themselves as DB Police. 

However, the DB has not informed the family or the party of Manju’s location since then.
"Mojibur Rahman Manju has been unwell for several days, having been injured in police firing. The AB Party is demanding his immediate and unconditional release," Tutur added.
