Judicial probe body to investigate all incidents: Law Minister

The judicial inquiry committee has been asked to investigate all incidents, including fatalities, that occurred July from July 16 to July 21, Law Minister Anisul Huq said on Tuesday.

After holding a meeting with several ministers, secretaries and chiefs of law enforcement agencies, he said that a notification has been issued extending the terms of reference of the one-member committee.

He said two more members will join the committee very soon.

On July 18, the government formed the one-member  judicial inquiry committee of High Court Division's Justice Khondker Diliruzzaman to investigate the killings of six people in clashes between protesters on July 16.
