2 killed near Padma Bridge road accident

A pick-up driver and his assistant were killed after a pick-up hit by an unidentified vehicle at Louhajang upazila in Munshiganj district early Thursday.

The incident happened in Khanbari intersection area adjacent to Padma Bridge North Toll Plaza.  

The deceased were identified as Polash Chandra Das, 24, and Joy Chandra Das, 25. Both were from Shibpur upazila in Narsingdi.

On information, police recovered the bodies and the pick-up was brought to the police station, said Kangson Kumar Singh, officer-in-charge of Hasara Highway Police Station.
