Uttar Baridhara beats Swadhinata KS 2-0

Uttar Baridhara Club celebrated a 2-0 win over Swadhinata Krira Sangha in the Bashundhara Group Senior Division Football League 2023-24 on Thursday at the Shaheed Birshreshtha Sepoy Mustafa Kamal Stadium in Dhaka. 

The Baridhara Club went ahead with a 40-minute goal by striker Rakibul Islam and doubled the lead following a goal by Faisal Ahmed in the 83rd minute. The boys of Swadhinata Krira Sangha could not reduce the margin and had to lose the match eventually. 

In the other matches, T&T Club and Nobabpur Krira Chokro played a 1-1 tie while Bashabo Torun Sangha and Badda Jagoroni Sangsad saw a goalless tie. 
Zeon Sarkar netted the goal for Nobabpur Krira Chokro and Tanvir Ahmed Aapan scored the goal for T&T Club. 

Although the match between Bashabo Torun Sangha and Badda Jagoroni Sangsad was goalless, a direct red card to Badda's booter Ala Uddin took all attention of the match.
