Rizvi, Parwar, Tuku remanded for 3 days, Nur, Swapan sent to jail

Six people including BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed and Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General Miah Golam Parwar were placed on a three-day remand each by a Dhaka Court on Thursday in a case filed over vandalising and setting Setu Bhaban at Banani ablaze on July 18.

The other accused are BNP Publicity Secretary Sultan Salauddin Tuku, Organising Secretary Qazi Sayedul Alam Babul,  Dhaka North City unit Member Secretary Aminul Haque and Bagerhat district unit Convener MA Salam.

 Metropolitan Magistrate Md Rashidul Alam passed the order after Inspector Abu Sayeed Miah of the Detective Branch of Police and also investigation officer of the case, produced them with a 10-day remand appeal.
