FF Abdul Gafur passes away

SANTHIA, PABNA, Aug 2: Freedom Fighter (FF) Abdul Gafur, former chairman and president of Awami League of Khetupara Union Parishad in Santhia Upazila of the district, died at Pabna Sadar Hospital at 7:30 pm on Thursday. He was 80.

He had been suffering from various diseases including diabetes for long.

His Namaz-e-Janaza was held in Samanyapara (Tilapara) Village of the upazila at 11 am on Friday.
Later on, he was buried at the local graveyard.

FF Abdul Gafur left behind his wife, three sons, one daughter and many well-wishers to mourn his death.
