Man kills sleeping wife, mother-in-law in Rangamati

RANGAMATI, Aug 2: A man hacked to death his wife and mother-in-law due to family disputes when they were sleeping at their home in Kashkhali village under Kawkhali upazila of the district on Thursday night.

The deceased were identified as Fatema Akhtar, 26, and her elderly mother Ayesha Khatun, 61. They are residents of  Kashkhali village in  Kawkhali  upazila of the district. Police arrested the killer, Md. Billal Hossain, 35.

Officer-in-charge (OC) of Kaukhali Police Station Rajeev Chandra Kar said due to a family disputes, the killer hacked to death his wife and mother-in-law while they were sleeping at their home.    —BSS
