2 held with hemp in Rajshahi

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested two alleged drug peddlers along with 112 kilograms of hemp in Rajshahi district on Friday night.
 
The arrested men are Mosharaf Hossain, 38, son of late Nazrul Islam of Fulbari village under Godagari upazila in Rajshahi district and Muhammad Sharif, 27, son of late Abdul Maleque of Ghorashal village under Muradnagar upazila in Comilla district, RAB sources said on Saturday afternoon.
 
Acting on a tip-off, a team of the RAB conducted a raid in the house of Mosharaf Hossain around 1.30 am and recovered the hemp and arrested them red-handed, RAB sources said.

A case was filed with the police station in these connections.
