8 killed in clashes between AL men and protesters in Feni

At least eight people were killed in a series of clashes between the protesters and activists of Awami League (AL) and its affiliates in Feni on Sunday.

Asif Iqbal, resident medical officer of Feni Sadar Hospital, confirmed the deaths.
Though the identities of the deceased could not be ascertained immediately, it was confirmed that the victim's were aged between 17 and 25.

Several people were injured in this incident.

The attack took place in the Mohipal area of the Dhaka-Chattogram highway after 2:00pm.

The bodies were taken to Feni General Hospital from the spot.
