Seven people were found dead in three districts - Feni, Barishal and Bogura, in two days after Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's resignation and departure from the country.

FENI: The bodies of two Juba League leaders were recovered in the district on Tuesday.
The bodies were recovered from Sadar and Sonagazi upazilas of the district.
The body, retrieved from a canal in the Saheberhat area of Amirabad Union in Sonagazi Upazila, was identified as Mushfiqur Rahman. He served as the office secretary of the Dhalia Union Juba League Unit in Sadar Upazila.

Nawabpur Union Parishad (UP) Chairman Md Zahirul Alam confirmed the incident, adding that the body was first noticed floating in the canal. Though the law enforcement authorities were notified about the body, no one came to retrieve it. Subsequently, his relatives recovered the body after being informed.
However, locals suspect that he was beaten to death, the UP chairman added.

In another incident, the body of Juba League activist Badsha Mia, also known as Kana Badsha, 40, was recovered in Baligaon Union of Sadar Upazila. As his body bore injury marks on the head and hands, locals assumed that he was also beaten to death.

Badsha Mia's body was found in the morning in front of a sawmill in Aftab Bibi Bazar of Baligaon Union. He was the son of Abul Khair from Bepari Bari in Madhuyyai Village of Baligaon Union.

Local residents informed the deceased's family upon discovering the body. His relatives then retrieved the body.

BARISHAL: The charred bodies of three people were recovered from the burnt residence of former mayor of Barishal City Corporation (BCC) Sadiq Abdullah on Kalibari Road in the city on Monday night.
The deceased were identified as Nurul Islam, 45, Prashanta, 34, and Moeen, 45.

It was known that a group of people vandalised and torched the house of former BCC mayor Sadiq Abdullah on Kalibari Road in the city on Monday after Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's resignation and exit from the country.

On information, Fire Service personnel rushed in and recovered the charred bodies of three people from there after dousing the blaze at around 9 pm.

The bodies of the deceased were, later, sent to the Barishal Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital morgue.

BOGURA: Two local leaders of Juba League were reportedly hacked to death by miscreants in the district on Monday night.

The incidents occurred in Malgram Dighipara area of the district town and Khorna Bazaar area of Shajahanpur Upazila.

The deceased were identified as Ranu Paikar, 34, a member of Ward No. 14 Juba League Unit in Bogura Municipality, and Nur Alam, 28, organizing secretary of Ward No. 1 Juba League of Khorna Bazaar in Shajahanpur Upazila.

Ranu Paikar was a resident of Chaprapara area in Bogura Town, while Nur Alam hailed from Deshma Village under Khorna Bazaar Union in Shajahanpur Upazila.
