12 police stations (PSs) in Bogura District have resumed their operations on Saturday after a five-day work absentia.
Superintendent of Police (SP) in Bogura Zakir Hasan confirmed the matter on Saturday, adding that, "Police have resumed their activities at 12 PSs under Bangladesh Army protection."
All 12 PSs in the district are now operational, with army support ensuring security. The Bogura Sadar PS, which is completely destroyed, is currently being operated from the DB office, said the SP.
In the morning, army officers, Bogura deputy commissioner, and the SP inspected each PS.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Shibganj PS Abdur Rouf said that their station has sustained damage. While operations have resumed, they are limited to internal activities, the OC added.
